All the blood, sweat and tears have paid off.
We’re really pleased to have won an award at the 2013 Digital Alberta awards last night. We won Best in Social Media for our project Make Something Edmonton. This project had a pretty tight timeline and it needed all hands on deck to finish. Thanks to Seth, Eli, Tim, Fletch, Greg, Chris, Thorren, Brandon and Micah.
We’d also like to thank the folks behind Make Something Edmonton for being such a great team to work with. They gave us a lot of trust and freedom with the project, along with some great feedback. In the end we really feel it was a team effort and part of this win goes to them. Thanks especially goes to Mary Sturgeon, who has put countless hours into making Make Something Edmonton what it is. Thanks Mary!
While we’re on the subject we got some very kind words from Mary:
I think I’ve said it before, but I had nothing but confidence in the Lift team as you worked under and delivered on some pretty tight deadlines. You’re all strategic thinkers, and you created a website that looks great and functions really well (have we had a single thing break on it, yet? ) I feel listened to when I ask you things, and your responses are always swift and thoughtful. I’d come to you again, if I ever needed another website, and I look forward to continuing to work with you as we enhance the current user experience on the Make Something Edmonton website.
