Marmot Basin asked us for a 'gnarly' new website to kick-off their 2018-19 season. We pushed beyond a simple website refresh and threw our expertise into building out a much needed strategy for the site's architecture and content.
We focused on their audience and created a user-flow that met the needs of their customers. An overhaul to the navigation and page layouts were essential pieces of the project's success.
The final product features a consistent, clean look and feel that can be applied throughout their digital presence. Their clients now have a clear path-to-purchase and seamless mobile experience. Every area of the design was done thoughtfully.
The content and user-flow focuses on helping users find what they need, so they can get off the internet and on to the mountain!
To help make the Marmot team's life easier, the new website pulls in live data from the thermometers and webcams on the hill. This allows staff to easily update runs, chairs, and grooming information from anywhere on the mountain.
With Marmot's deep trust in our expertise and our love of Jasper's Canadian Rockies, we were inspired from start to finish. The result is a highly functional website that features a simple design with huge impact. The standout star? Marmot's breathtaking photography of airy vistas that highlight the Marmot experience.
